NCCP Paramedic (VILT) December 2023

Join us for the December NCCP Paramedic VILT (Zoom) Refresher Program.

This program meets all of the National Registry NCCP refresher requirements for Paramedic recertification. Courses will be held via video conference and will start promptly at 0900 and are expected to end at 1200.

Dates: December 4 – 22, 2023

Duration: 10 Days
Con-Ed Hrs: 30
Requirements & Expectations: Full attendance at all 10 Days of the program, submission of final log report, complete final assessment.

2. 12/05/23 Day 2 – Fluid Resuscitation, Hemorrhage Control, Trauma Triage, Crew Resource Management
3. 12/06/23 Day 3 – Stroke, Congestive Heart Failure,  Airway/Respiration/Ventilation, Field Triage
4. 12/07/23 Day 4 – Ambulance Safety, Evidence Based Guidelines, EMS Research, EMS Culture of Safety,  EMS Hygiene/Safety/ Vaccinations
5. 12/08/23 Day 5 – Acute Coronary Syndrome, Cardiac Arrest, Post-Resuscitation Care
6. 12/18/23 Day 9 – At-Risk Populations, Pediatric Transport, Psychiatric and Behavioral Emergencies
7. 12/19/23 Day 10 – Endocrine Emergencies-Diabetes, Special Healthcare Needs, Pain Management,
8. 12/20/23 Day 11 – OB Emergencies, Infectious Diseases,Ventricular Assist Devices, Medication Delivery, Toxicological Emergencies-Opioids
9. 12/21/23 Day 12 – Neurological Emergencies-Seizures, Central Nervous System(CNS) Injury, Immunological Emergencies
10. 12/22/23 Day 13 – Pediatric Cardiac Arrest

Upon successful completion: Students will receive the 2023 NCCP Paramedic Refresher Certificate.

Please note the following MA OEMS AR 2-212, Sect E, Paragraph 4 requirements:

” While attending continuing education courses, whether in-person or remotely, students are expected to provide uninterrupted attention to the material and/or instructor. Students are not permitted to engage in other activities while attending courses, including, but not limited to, responding to EMS or fire service calls, attending more than one course simultaneously or leaving a device unattended while a T3 or T5 course is in progress. If needed, students may stop a remote, pre-recorded course and restart when timing allows. Sponsors of all course types are encouraged to employ reasonable methods to encourage and monitor student engagement.”
