NCCP EMT(BLS) VILT January 2024

Join us for the January 2024 VILT (Zoom) NCCP EMT (BLS) Refresher.

This program meets all of the National Registry NCCP refresher requirements for EMT(BLS) recertification. Courses will be held via Zoom and students are required to attend all session to receive credit for the program.

Dates: January 22-26, 2024 0900-1300

Target Audience: EMT-Bs
Duration: 5 Days
Con-Ed Hrs: 20
Requirements & Expectations: Full attendance at all 5 Days of the program & complete final assessment.

1. 01/22/24 Day 1 -ARV, VAD, Stroke, CNS Injuries, Post Resuscitation Care
2. 01/23/24 Day 2 – Cardiac Arrest, Trauma Triage, Hemorrhage Control, Pain Management, Psychiatric Emergencies
3. 01/24/24 Day 3 – Toxicology and Opioids, Neurology Emergencies & Seizures, Infectious Diseases, OB Emergencies, Immunology Disorders, Special Healthcare Needs
4. 01/25/24 Day 4 – Endocrine Emergencies/ Diabetes, At Risk Populations, Ambulance Safety, Culture of Safety, Field Triage, Crew Resource Management
5. 01/26/24 Day 5 – Pediatric Transport, EMS Research, Evidence Based Guidelines, Hygiene and Vaccinations, Pediatric Cardiac Arrest

Upon successful completion: You will receive the 2023/2024 NCCP BLS Refresher Certificate.

Please note the following MA OEMS AR 2-212, Sect E, Paragraph 4 requirements:

” While attending continuing education courses, whether in-person or remotely, students are expected to provide uninterrupted attention to the material and/or instructor. Students are not permitted to engage in other activities while attending courses, including, but not limited to, responding to EMS or fire service calls, attending more than one course simultaneously or leaving a device unattended while a T3 or T5 course is in progress. If needed, students may stop a remote, pre-recorded course and restart when timing allows. Sponsors of all course types are encouraged to employ reasonable methods to encourage and monitor student engagement.”
